Limited Manufacturing Defect Warranty

At Besotted By Pearls, each jewelry piece is carefully handcrafted, quality inspected, hallmarked, and, where applicable, independently certified prior to dispatch.

We warrant that our jewellery will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 30 calendar days from the date of delivery.

What Is Covered

This Limited Warranty applies only to genuine manufacturing defects that arise during normal and intended use of the product, including:

Defective clasps or closures.
Faulty soldering or assembly.
Manufacturing defects in metal components.
Pearl detachment resulting from defective workmanship.
Structural defects attributable to manufacturing processes.

All warranty claims are subject to inspection and verification by Besotted By Pearls.

What Is Not Covered

This Warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear.
Surface scratches, dents, or abrasions.
Tarnishing, oxidation, or natural ageing of sterling silver.
Changes in appearance resulting from exposure to moisture, perfumes, cosmetics, chemicals, cleaning products, lotions, or environmental factors.
Damage caused by improper storage, mishandling, misuse, accidents, impact, crushing, pulling, bending, or negligence.
Loss, theft, or disappearance of any jewellery item or component.
Damage caused by third-party repairs, modifications, resizing, alterations, or servicing.
Damage resulting from failure to follow care instructions.
Natural variations in pearls, including differences in shape, size, colour, lustre, overtone, or surface characteristics.
Broken chains, bent findings, damaged pearls, or detached components resulting from accidental force or improper handling.
Consumable packaging materials, certificates, gift boxes, pouches, or accessories.

Warranty Claim Procedure

To submit a warranty claim, customers must contact us within the applicable warranty period and provide:

Order number.
Proof of purchase.
Clear photographs and videos showing the alleged defect.
Any additional information reasonably requested during the review process.

Failure to provide sufficient information may result in rejection of the warranty claim.

Inspection and Determination

All products submitted under warranty are subject to inspection.

Besotted By Pearls reserves the sole right to determine whether the issue is the result of:

A manufacturing defect; or
Normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, improper care, or other excluded circumstances.

Warranty Remedies

If a valid manufacturing defect is confirmed, Besotted By Pearls may, at its sole discretion:

Repair the product;
Replace the product with the same or substantially similar product; or
Issue a refund where repair or replacement is not commercially feasible.

The remedy selected by Besotted By Pearls shall constitute the customer's sole and exclusive remedy under this Warranty.

Shipping Costs for Warranty Claims

Customers shall be responsible for all costs associated with shipping products to Besotted By Pearls for warranty evaluation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Where a warranty claim is approved, Besotted By Pearls may, at its discretion, reimburse reasonable return shipping costs or arrange replacement shipping.
